Ponds and water features are meant to last, but they still need routine maintenance performed

Terms and Conditions

Spring Cleanout (All Packages)

  • The Spring Cleanout typically involves draining the pond or basin, storing the fish, pressure washing and rinsing, removing organic debris, and inspecting the feature components. Your specific needs may cause your service to differ from this description. Features that store more than 400 gallons of water may have a hose or auto-fill running for customers to fill. The fish will be returned using the stored pond water.
  • Spring Cleanouts will be invoiced separately from other maintenance visits.
    • 50% of the Spring Cleanout is invoiced after an approved proposal.
    • The final 50% will be invoiced after completion.
  • Large ponds will be billed on a Time & Materials basis. Other water features will be billed at the quoted price.
  • Maintenance package pricing is for our valued existing customers who have had a Spring Cleanout or DCA (Drain, Clean, and Assessment) performed in the past year.
  • New customers or existing clients who missed the Cleanout in the previous year will incur an additional charge for the Spring Cleanout due to expected higher volumes of organic material and debris needing removal.
  • Seasonal maintenance is crucial for reducing the amount of organic matter and preserving the pristine quality of water features throughout the year, as well as ensuring the proper functionality of components like the pump, filter, and other accessories. Customers who choose Bronze and higher packages will enjoy discounted prices for the Spring Cleanout, which reflects the added value of this benefit.

Maintenance Service Visits (Bronze, Silver, and Gold Packages)

  • All non-cleanout visits include beneficial bacteria treatments and debris removal from the pond edge using a net. A visual inspection of components and filtration devices will also be conducted. Components will be cleaned to restore function as necessary.
  • Bronze packages will have remaining visits invoiced separately.
  • Silver and Gold packages will have maintenance visits invoiced monthly from May to December.
  • For IonGen rentals, customers with a functional control panel will receive only an invoice for a replacement probe. For Automatic Dosing System rentals, customers with a working panel will receive necessary replacement parts. If a panel fails, the service will convert to a full rental.
